S10 4.3 engine clean idle control valve
WebFeb 4, 2024 · I have a 1991 s10 pickup woth the 4.3 liter fuel injected and I have replaced pretty much all the pars I could thing of for a rough idle and still can't figure it out. Just replaced the coolant temp sensor thinking that might fox it and still nothing. Also the pickup will not warm up past about 100 according to the temp meter. What do I do !!! WebMay 5, 2009 · 3. Inspect the Idle Air Control Valve-- Damaged, Loose, or Faulty Idle Air Control Valves will cause rough idle. 4. Inspect the idle speed actuator-- It could be loose or faulty. 5. Check the throttle position sensor. this is a know problem spot when the idle is erratic or unstable. 6. Make sure you are running a clean air filter as well.
